With the iPhone 16 series, Apple added Camera Control, a new way to take photos on your iPhone. This hardware control acts not only as a simple shutter button, but also allows accessing menus to control different aspects of the camera by just pressing and swiping.
Photon has support for the Camera Control, adding direct support for tweaking our manual controls without having to lift your finger or use a second hand!
To access the menus in Camera Control, press down on the button lightly. Select an option with another light press. You can adjust the setting by swiping left and right on the control. To go back to the selection menu, press down lightly twice in quick succession.
These controls are available in Camera Control when using Photon in Manual mode:
- Focus
- Shutter Speed
- ISO
- Camera
- Temperature
- Tint
In Express Mode these simplified controls are available:
- Zoom
- Brightness/EV
