Photon currently includes two shortcuts for use within iOS. These shortcuts can be triggered in a myriad of way via the Shortcuts app. Additionally if you have an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, you can also assign them to your physical Action button.

Photon offers the following actions for these uses:
- Open Photon – this simply opens the app
- Shoot a photo with Photon – if Photon is in the background, it’s opened and a photo is immediately taken. Otherwise, if Photon is in the foreground, just takes a photo.
